PFM Intelligence chosen as footfall system for London Bridge Station development
PFM Footfall Intelligence is proud to have been chosen to supply, install and service a footfall system for the prestigious new development of London Bridge Station. The proposed system will be installed in all retail units as well as all every entry and exits to the concourse area. Network Rail will use the collected data to track trends and manage retail performance across the entire station. Installation of the system will take approximately 12 months and we will be working closely with the building contractors on site to provide a smooth implementation process for Network Rail.
London Bridge is the fourth busiest station in the country, bringing around 56 million passengers into the city each year. The changes Network Rail are making will allow more Thameslink trains to be introduced every day – up to 18 trains an hour through London Bridge – offering better connections than ever before.
London Bridge – vision for the future
The improvements are part of the government-sponsored Thameslink Programme. This is part of the wider vision of a better rail network for London and Britain.
